Fibromyalgia & Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Treatment Process
Dr. Dantini treats patients with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome throughout the U.S. and globally, and your treatment process can be completed in our office or through telehealth appointments.
If are interested in Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome treatments by phone, please fill out and submit the Patient History Form. Dr. Dantini’s office will then call you to discuss any questions you may have about the treatment process and the payment information. If you would like to make an office appointment, the form is not required.
Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome treatments usually take 4 to 5 consultations, during which Dr. Dantini will assess the patient, and design a customized treatment plan.
Initial Assessment
During your initial consultation, Dr. Dantini will assess you based on your Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome symptoms and your medical history form. He typically recommends viral tests, and testing for food sensitivities that may have developed due to the viruses. During the first consultation, he will review all of your symptoms, some of which may relate to viruses and food sensitivities.
You will receive a prescription for the recommended viral tests by mail that must be authorized by a local medical professional. You may have blood drawn at any lab (check with your insurance company for labs covered under your plan.) They will perform that blood work and then fax the results back to your medical professional. Please send or fax a copy of these results to us, so we can review them and make further recommendations.
If you are being tested for food sensitivities you will also receive a specimen kit for the allergy test. Take the kit to your medical professional for authorization. The blood can be drawn at any local lab and sent back in the prepaid FedEx package provided.
Consultation and Treatment Plan
During the next consultation, Dr. Dantini will review and discuss all the blood tests with you,and recommend a treatment plan for you. Prescription recommendations can be mailed or faxed to you to share with your local medical professional.
If you have been tested for delayed food sensitivities as part of your Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome treatment plan, you will be advised to avoid those foods for at least six weeks. Over the six-week avoidance period, symptoms caused by food sensitivities will disappear.
Treatment Progress and Analysis
Dr. Dantini will assess your progress over the next few weeks. Those with food sensitivities may start challenging foods back into your diet to determine the foods that are causing specific symptoms.
Dr. Dantini will continue your consultation, covering managing a relapse of Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome symptoms and discusses vitamins and supplements which may help. This stage takes 10 to 14 weeks. This treatment doesn’t work for everyone, but our Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome treatments have had an 80% success rate.
Finally, Dr. Dantini will help you manage your disease for the long term – how to manage the ups and down – with options customized to every patient.
